SPORTS OUTFITTER SALES ADVISOR

We would like to talk with you about joining our fast paced team of enthusiastic individuals with sporting goods knowledge.
As a Sports Outfitter Sales Advisor your primary focus will be to support the owner in building and sustaining long term relationships with our customers by providing an environment with extensive product knowledge that enhances the buying experience. You will be responsible for assisting in the overall operation and performance of the store, with a concentration on customer service, sales, merchandising, inventory, and training/development. You will be accountable for helping to drive profitability through customer relations and marketing.
At Egelston-Maynard Sports, we are proud to be a member of the nation’s largest sporting goods buying groups- Sports Inc.! Although, sports gear is our main focus, we also are a specialty store providing custom awards, corporate embroidered apparel and promotional products.
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to multi-task
- Experience with playing or coaching sports and/or sporting goods sales
- Possess decision making skills; able to assess issues and resolve any problems.
- Customer service skills to include listening, negotiation and communication skills to resolve any issues/concerns.
- Retail experience a plus
